This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the foundational team building a business passionate about our coffee, our customers, and delivering excellence.


  • Understanding all aspects of the coffee roasting, grinding and packaging equipment. Ensure safe operation at all times and perform daily maintenance tasks.
  • Plan, monitor and record each roast, controlling roaster settings as required to meet quality specifications and consistent roast profiles.
  • Calculating daily green coffee requirements and determining batch sizes to meet daily roast schedule.
  • Performing all necessary quality checks on product and document the roast/quality results on records as required.
  • Use and analysis of computerized data logging system for each roast.
  • Maintain current and accurate records and management of inventory for finished goods and raw materials.
  • Receiving and inspection of deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality of product.
  • Complete logs, forms and checklists as appropriate
  • Packaging and shipment of orders to ensure timely delivery of quality finished product to customers.
  • Assist with customers and walk-in orders.
  • Assist with the development and posting of photographic and video content on website, social media and other marketing outlets
  • Maintain the roaster and production areas to ensure a clean, organized work environment.
  • Periodic cleaning and maintenance of the entire roasting and packaging systems.
  • Always ensure a safe, clean and healthy work environment maintained and operated in accordance with applicable Health and Safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be passionate about all things coffee!
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant food industry experience (coffee roasting preferred)
  • Follow all company Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, with a tolerance for a high heat atmosphere
  • Must be able to work overtime, including some weekends, as reasonably required
  • Good math, computer and literacy skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office products
  • Excellent time management and punctuality
  • Unassisted lifting of very heavy items
  • Texas Food Safety Manager certification preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • High school graduate
